Shorts brothers are the oldest aircraft manufacturing plant in the world, and are currently a subsidiary of Bombardier aerospace, producing a range of regional jets. They had a problem processing large amounts of NASTRAN FE Analysis data in Excel which required a team of engineers weeks to process. What was a month of tedious repetitive and error-prone work for an engineering team was reduced to one click of a button by IDAC programmers.
